All About Us
Formed in 2005 by Sorcha Bridge and Nicola Lokko in response to increasing demand for stylish, functional British woollens. All About me are not led or influenced by seasonal trends but try to provide the solution for handmade garments that are well-finished, wearable and distinctive.
The team are working with knitters and crocheters to interpret modern techniques, designs and styles influenced by the ancient craft of hand knitting and crocheting.
Each piece is hand-crafted and hand-finished in Britain and made from the highest quality yarns.
We select wool from British flocks therefore supporting the British Wool industry.
Today there is a greater need to use natural, renewable products and wool provides this need whilst having the bonus of providing a warm durable material.
All About Me have invested in the wool from the Leicester Longwool sheep, which is listed by the RBST (Rare British Sheep Trust) as endangered. Conservation of these and other British rare breed sheep is something All About Me feel strongly about, we have to work together to restore Britain’s native livestock breeds.
